Description
They All Laughed is a song by George Gershwin with words by Ira Gershwin, written for the 1937 film Shall We Dance. It was performed as part of a song and dance routine by the legendary partnership of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. It became an independent hit and was subsequently recorded multiple times by artists from Bing Crosby and Ella Fitzgerald to Lady Gaga.
In this arrangement for recorder trio, the middle part is adaptable for either descant or treble recorder. All the parts are easy (around Grade 1-3). Perfect as a first ensemble piece with independent parts.
