Description

The Christmas Song was written in 1945 by Mel Tormé and Robert Wells, and was first recorded a year later by Nat King Cole. Cole went on to record it several more times, with his 1961 stereo version becoming the most widely known and broadcast. Tormé and Wells are said to have completed the song during an extremely hot summer, immersing themselves with imagery of winter in an attempt to cool themselves down!

This gentle, swing arrangement for moderate/advanced SATB ensemble is perfect for the festive season.
