Description
Julian Nott’s popular theme song to Wallace and Gromit first appeared in Nick Park’s stop-motion film A Grand Day Out in 1989. The song was also heard in all the subsequent films in the series, including The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave. The characters of Wallace and his dog Gromit are now amongst the best loved in British TV history and the music is instantly recognisable.
This arrangement was used in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire’s Covid 19 lockdown video, featuring over forty recorder-playing staff and alumni.
